How do I get involved?

To be part of the fun, all you need to do is complete our registration form below. Tickets are $10 (plus Eventbrite booking fees), and include a complimentary glass of wine or post of beer on arrival.

What happens on the night?

Grab a drink to settle the nerves, pick up your ‘match’ card from our friendly host, and you’ll be paired for 3-5 minutes each with other participants to chat. When we ring the bell, you’ll move to the next potential new friend.

Question 3

How do I ‘match’ with someone?

Accepted Answer

On your ‘speed friending match card’, you can confidentially note down who you clicked with. At the end of the night, you return your card to the host. And if that also ‘matched’ with you, you’ll both receive a private email the next day to introduce you to each other.

Question 4

Is there an age range for this event?

Accepted Answer

All are welcome! That said, we reckon most participants will be in their 30s or 40s (or close enough anyway). In future, we’ll look to host more age specific events.

Question 5

I’m a bit nervous. What if I can’t think of what to say?

Accepted Answer

Totally fine! We’ll give you a few pointers before we get going, and also have a bunch of ‘conversation starter’ cards on each table. And just remember, everyone’s a little nervous in these situations. Good on you for having a crack!
